Getting from the airport
CLT to city center: 15 minutes by metro (LYNX Blue Line). Fare is $2.2. Trains run every 12 minutes. Service runs 05:00 to 23:45. Skip the taxi unless your connection is under 5 hours.
What to do in Charlotte
The stops worth making: NASCAR Hall of Fame, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, Whitewater Center, NoDa arts neighborhood. You do not need the full tourist circuit. Pick two and commit.
